Army chief's powerful warning to Pakistan: 'End support to terror if you want place in geography'

Speaking to troops in Rajasthan's Anupgarh, the Army chief said that India will not maintain the restraint it did in Operation Sindoor 1.0.

In a powerful and unequivocal warning to Pakistan, Army chief Upendra Dwivedi on Friday said that Pakistan's geographic existence will be wiped off if it does not end state-sponsored terrorism.

Speaking to troops in Rajasthan's Anupgarh, the Army chief said that India will not maintain the restraint it did in Operation Sindoor 1.0.

The message was a clear signal that Operation Sindoor, launched in May to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack, has not ended.

Issuing a stern warning to the neighbour, the Army chief said that Pakistan will be erased from the map if its support to terror groups does not end.

"This time we will do something that Pakistan will have to think whether it wants to be in Geography or not. If Pakistan wants to be in geography, then it must stop state-sponsored terrorism," he said.
