Microsoft’s chief executive officer Satya Nadella and Alphabet counterpart Sundar Pichai are the most influential global Indians, according to a survey done by HSBC and Hurun India.
On the other hand, ArcelorMittal’s LN Mittal was the richest on the list with a total wealth of Rs 1.84 lakh crore, according to the HSBC Hurun Global Indians List 2024 released on January 22.
In the inaugural list of ‘HSBC Hurun Global Indians List 2024’, the survey ranked the 200 most valuable companies in the world led by Indian-origin leaders.
Companies were ranked according to their value, defined as market capitalization for listed companies and valuations for non-listed companies. The cut-off date used was 29th November 2024.
Other tech leaders who were voted favorably were Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian, YoutTube CEO Neal Mohan and Tesla’s chief financial officer Vaibhav Taneja.
