During a recent Rajya Sabha session, a heated exchange took place between Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) MP Vaiko and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The confrontation began when Vaiko expressed concerns about Tamil Nadu fishermen and made a remark that was interpreted as a threat: "Tamil Nadu, you enter Tamil Nadu, I'll see you."

In response, Sitharaman strongly objected, stating, "He said one line... that one line is objectionable... He said, 'You set foot in Tamil Nadu, and I will take care of it.' That is not acceptable. It's wrong. You should not say that. What you said is wrong. Anyone can set foot in any place in this country; no one has the right over anyone else. This is atrocious. What kind of language is this?"

This exchange has gained significant attention on social media, with many users criticizing Vaiko's statement and supporting Sitharaman's stance.
