Doctors have examined tennis player Radhika Yadav's body after her murder and an autopsy report has been filed, revealing details of her murder and what went down on Thursday when Radhika's father Deepak Yadav shot her down at their Sushant Lok residence in Gurugram's sector 57.
The autopsy report has revealed that Radhika was shot four times and that one of the four bullets went through-and-through Radhika's body.
According to the postmortem report, one of the bullets entered and exited her body, causing wounds at two locations, which may have led to confusion about how many bullets she was hit with. The autopsy has confirmed four entry wounds in total.
Deepak Yadav killed his own daughter on Thursday after she refused to shut her tennis academy even though Deepak was unhappy with her running it. He confessed to killing Radhika and said that their family was well off and he did not think there was a need for Radhika to run her academy. However, her refusal to shut the academy down led to him being angry - which ultimately led to him murdering Radhika.
Radhika's mother Manju Yadav has revealed that her husband Deepak is an "obsessive" man and was hurt after some villagers taunted him on allegedly living off his daughter's money, which enraged him. Manju also said that Deepak had expressed a desire to kill their daughter and that the couple had been fighting over the issue for the past three days.
Radhika was 25 years old and was rushed to the hospital after Deepak shot her at their Gurugram residence, after which she passed away. During that time, Manju was allegedly in another room on the same floor but was resting as she was reportedly unwell. Deepak has now been sent to one-day police custody by a Gurugram court on Friday.
