Rain, hailstorm lash Nashik

Nashik, Feb 11 (PTI) Unseasonal rain accompanied with hailstorm lashed this North Maharashtra city and its adjoining areas this evening, disrupting power supply and causing water logging in some localities. Skies were overcast since the morning and rain began at around 4.45 pm and lasted till 7 pm. Several low-lying areas were water-logged and power supply was snapped. Transport services were also hit, officials said, quoting reports reaching here. The downpour could adversely affect crops like grapes, wheat and onions. PTI HVJ RSY
