There's a low chance of rain on February 2 as the influence of western disturbance is likely to diminish. However, another western disturbance is expected to affect the city starting from February 3. According to the weather department's forecast, the maximum temperature on February 2 is expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be around 9 degrees Celsius.

The current weather situation, called the western disturbance, is likely to cause moderate to heavy rainfall in specific areas of North India until February 5. The IMD said that it has led to a cyclonic storm in north-western Rajasthan and nearby areas. Also, there's a chance of snowfall in some parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand due to this weather system.
