"Due to the current situation in Delhi, it is expected that travel-related delays could happen and students might not be able to reach the exam centre on time. That's why, all students are being advised to leave from their respective homes earlier than usual. Students are advised to take Delhi Metro to reach their exam centres as they are operating on schedule," said CBSE in its circular.
CBSE also told students in other Indian cities and foreign countries to take adequate measures to reach exam centre on time because they won't be allowed after 10 am.
Candidates are allowed to carry plastic transparent pouches, identity cards, pens, pencils, erasers and scales. Smartwatches or watches with calculators are prohibited. Drinking water will be provided to the students at the exam centres.
