Watch the interview of Sharmila Joshi of Sharmilajoshi.com and Hemen Kapadia of KRChoksey Securities with Nigel D'Souza and Ekta Batra on CNBC-TV18, in which they shared their reading and outlook on market and specific stocks. Sharmila Joshi of sharmilajoshi.comDelta CorpDelta Corp is a play that I like given the fact that the kind of business they are in according to me. Going ahead there is a great possibility for that. I think a lot of these times these permissions take a long time in coming which is why perhaps you haven't seen. There was an initial excitement when people heard of the business, heard of casinos etc but when one saw that things are taking long to fall into place, one saw the correction coming in. For me it is a hold.ITC For ITC going ahead things are going to be sort of difficult given the fact that a lot has happened within their biggest contributor cigarettes, which is negative whether it is ban on cigarettes, the kind of duties they have to pay etc. So ITC had made a conscious effort to get into other verticals but those aren’t big contributors at this point in time. So going forward, you may not see this stock rallying a great deal from current levels. I would still think that my target on ITC would be closer to Rs 340. But it might be a better idea to at least switch partially and maybe either get into another fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) stock like a Dabur, completely different sector depending on what the portfolio composition is. Cipla Cipla's last quarter results weren't encouraging and the entire pharma space is hit by these inspections. I would in fact expect this to go up or continue given the fact that Indian companies are targeting a lot of business from various geographies overseas whether its US or other European or Japan, they are targeting business from these countries and there would be inspections from various boards, not just USFDA which you would have to comply with and we are seeing that compliance is taking a long time. It is difficult to put a timeline on that, they are able to sort them out in three-six months because it depends on so many things. However, having said that for me the stock is a hold but for seven-eight months, it might be a better idea to switch out of it.Motherson Sumi I don’t have a short-term view on Motherson Sumi but I have liked this stock. I think that the kind of business model that they have built and the kind of capacity that they are talking of all that is great. What has hit the stock in the past year has been this whole Volkswagen issue and that is in fact been the single biggest reason for why the stock has corrected from almost more than Rs 300 levels that it used to be to the levels that it went to. So my target would be Rs 310-315 but that would be with a slightly longer-term view because you need to let this whole issue settle because at the end of the day Volkswagen was one client from Motherson Sumi and also I think the company is just a supplier, so it has always got a chance to go back and see where else they could be selling etc but they would need that time to get over that loss of business. So as I said, it is not a short-term view but with a slightly longer-term perspective for me it is a hold. Hemen Kapadia of KRChoksey SecuritiesBioconIn last two years Biocon has gone nowhere. It is totally rangebound. If it is a short-term view also we are in a range between Rs 455 and Rs 495, for the last 18 or 22 trading sessions with no directional bias. Firstly, you need to keep a stoploss at Rs 472 and if Rs 495 gets taken out with volumes, we would see a smart jump to Rs 510 and maybe to Rs 520. So as of now it is a hold, it doesn’t look bad, it hasn’t done much better either in the recent past or in the past couple of years.Coal India In Coal India currently we are in an intermediate downtrend but range bound between Rs 340 and Rs 290, a lot of strong support around Rs 290 and further longer term support comes in around Rs 260. So I do not have that much of a data to take a long-term view, I have for the last four-five years but I would say a hold with a stoploss of Rs 260.
