Stay invested in BPCL: Prakash Diwan

Prakash Diwan, Director at Altamount Cap Management is of the view that one may stay invested in Bharat Petroleum Corporation.

Prakash Diwan, Director at Altamount Cap Management told CNBC-TV18, "It is good to ride the momentum, it is in an uncharted territory at the moment, new highs being made every day and I would believe the momentum would continue in this entire oil and gas pack for some more time. Even if the markets go through a time correction of sorts, these are companies that could probably be more resilient going forward be it BPCL, Reliance Industries, Cairn India.”

“The entire oil and gas pack is getting re-looked at from a different set of investors who have not given it such a condescending look yet. So I would believe BPCL has some legs, stay invested if you are long but fresh investments could not be great in terms of risk reward ratio going forward,” he added.
