Jagdish Malkani, Member at NSE told CNBC-TV18, "I like Godrej Properties. 50 percent rise from these levels is quite on the cards with a little turn in the sector. I do not think anything great is going to happen in real estate per se, but I just think that the stock is well valued considering its pedigree etc."

On January 01, 2014 Godrej Properties ended at Rs 180.40, up Rs 14.55, or 8.77 percent.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 310.13 and 52-week low Rs 159 on 03 January, 2013 and 11 December, 2013, respectively.

The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 14.96 per share. (Sep, 2013). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 12.06. The latest book value of the company is Rs 103.61 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 1.74. The dividend yield of the company was 0.83 percent.
