Varun Goel of Motilal Oswal AMC told CNBC-TV18, "We would like to still wait for all the asset quality issues to get addressed. We are not sure if the whole extent of the problem has been disclosed. We hope that in this quarter a large part of the non-performing assets will be disclosed and adequate provisions will continue to be made.""However, we still need to see the next 2-3 quarters very carefully before turning positive on that space. So, as of now we will continue to like consumer finance companies and private sector banks as compared to the public sector peers," he added.
