Dipan Mehta - member at BSE & NSE told CNBC-TV18, "By and large in banks, we haven’t had any major disasters or any accidents. The private sector banks have delivered their numbers, we saw IndusInd Bank and Axis Bank and I thought DCB Bank also was good at the core operating level and then the NBFCs did very well. I think Bajaj Finance and LIC Housing Finance came out with good set of numbers, including SKS Microfinance." "I think that is the bright spot as far as markets are concerned and I wouldn’t still give up on pharma. No doubt Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Lupin may disappoint but a whole host of other midcap pharma companies, may be Cadila Healthcare, Torrent Pharma, Glenmark Pharma, Ajanta Pharma and few others may still deliver good set of numbers. So, we maintain our overweight position on pharma as well as private sector banks as a measure of disclosure," he said.
