Manishi Raychaudhuri overweight on auto sector

Manishi Raychaudhuri, managing director, Asian Equity Strategist, head of research at BNP Paribas Securities India has an overweight stance on auto sector.

Manishi Raychaudhuri, managing director, Asian Equity Strategist, head of research at BNP Paribas Securities India told CNBC-TV18, "We like auto sector. We have an overweight stance on auto sector because we think a large part of the universe is likely to gain either because of the export impetus that we are seeing in the economy or because of the rural consumption angle."

"Within that category one has the likes of Mahindra and Mahindra, Hero Motocorp, Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors," he added.
