Look at NTPC, Power Grid: Amit Khurana

Amit Khurana, Co- Head Equities & Head of Research at Dolat Capital Market told CNBC-TV18, "NTPC and Power Grid Corporation of India are probably valuation calls. We believe that the correction in both these stocks is warranting us to take a look at them. Primarily, Power Grid in particular because we believe that the transmission projects are beginning to get the government spending in and valuations at high single digits one year forward are pretty attractive from an entry point of view.""While NTPC is defensive per se, but we believe that this entry point is good enough for one to look at it structurally. In the high volatile environment you would probably expect them to do reasonably well in general. So, that is slightly a defensive call as well," he said.
