Vineet Bhatnagar - MD at Phillip Capital told CNBC-TV18, "As far as the tactical play and 18-24 months situation is concerned where Nifty can go much beyond what we have all visualised up till now, names like Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and State Bank of India (SBI) will always and should find names in my portfolio."
At 11:39 hrs State Bank of India was quoting at Rs 288.20, down Rs 1.80, or 0.62 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 291.70 and an intraday low of Rs 286.30.
At 11:39 hrs Punjab National Bank was quoting at Rs 162.40, down Rs 4.45, or 2.67 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 167.70 and an intraday low of Rs 161.55.
