Hemen Kapadia of KRChoksey Securities told CNBC-TV18, "In terms of technical’s I think Tide Water Oil is in a long-term uptrend. We are in a long-term uptrend since 2006. So, almost nine years in counting higher-tops higher-bottoms. I don’t see a problem. We have walked into a correction of a greater degree. Above Rs 19,500 we are going to move to probably Rs 25,000 or so, so this consolidation could take some time.""I am not sure about the open offer. The stock is on a short, medium and very clearly long-term uptrend. It could take some time to consolidate over here but it seems like a clear hold, I don’t see a problem at all," he added.
