Jagannadham Thununguntla, Head of Research at SMC Global Securities told CNBC-TV18, "As a company Crompton Greaves had a rough patch two-three years back and slowly the company could able to repair lot of damage, slowly coming back in the recovery process. A lot of good news must be following up in Crompton Greaves sooner than later. One can expect that the stock should be benefiting from this news. I feel that one should hold on. A lot of better times both in terms of company and stock are waiting to come."

The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 8.20 per share. (Sep, 2014). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 23.41. The latest book value of the company is Rs 53.55 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 3.58. The dividend yield of the company was 0.63 percent.
