Sanjiv Bhasin of IIFL told CNBC-TV18, "We would be more on commodities and we think for us as a disclosure all the way from Rs 75, Hindalco Industries has been our top pick. We are of the belief that the second half will see unleashing of the commodity market in a big way. You have seen that in sugar, you have seen that in tea, you have seen that coffee or the commodity stocks. But really it is going to be the base metals which will outperform. Hindalco for us is a buy now even at prices closer to Rs 110. So, we think the stock can go all the way to Rs 135. Similar would be a move on JSW Steel which would be an outperformer.""In that pecking order, we would not be so bullish on some of the Asian Paints of the world, because we think that maybe FMCG or consumer stocks may not be that much of a highlight given that commodities or high beta plays would be the reality," he said. "In Coal India, we have seen that increase in price, increase in volumes and no justification for coal prices where even after a smart pull back, the stock is languishing, it has hardly moved. So, we think prices closer to Rs 400 by the next one year is possible. So, in that pecking order, State Bank of India, Coal India, Hindalco Industries and Reliance Industries, these are the bent of mind on energy and metals where we would be extremely bullish."Disclosure: Reliance Industries has acquired management control of Network18, which owns TV18 Broadcast and moneycontrol.com
