Shahina Mukadam, Independent Market told CNBC-TV18, "Adani Port's number should be pretty good given the fact that they have got their ports that they had acquired over the last year, you have the Dhamra Port, etc. which is going to contribute to better numbers.”
“In terms of valuation also, while it is slightly expensive at 25 times enterprise value (EV) by earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) basis, the increased contribution from the new ports which they have added on and increased capacity volumes especially with the GDP improving over the next 1-2 years, we should do better and one can buy it at current levels. It is at a decent level as of now with a 1-2 year holding horizon," she said.
At 14:43 hrs Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone was quoting at Rs 337.25, up Rs 5.20, or 1.57 percent on the BSE.
