July sees lowest telecom user`s addition in last 2 yrs

Networth Stock Broking has come out with its report on telecom space.

The latest data for net subscribers' addition during July-2011 released by COAI (Cellular Operators Association of India) suggest that Indian mobile GSM subscribers base reached to 606.41 million (excl-RCom, Tata and MTS numbers) vs. 598 million in June 2011. Total subscribers addition showed another downfall for July-2011 at 7.6 million vs. 8.5 million in June-2011. This was the lowest addition since last two years. If we observe the circle wise growth over last month, the Metro Circles showed only 1.27% increment over last month. In case of other Circles: A Circle grew by 1.28%, B Circle by 1.17% while C Circle showed continuous topped growth with 1.55% and supported by growth from states like Assam and J&K (addition by 2.23% and 2.61% respectively).
