Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "Banks are relative outperformer today. The Bank index as well as individual banks are now crossing their resistance levels. Banks in general are a buying opportunity – State Bank of India and Bank Nifty, the two of them."

He further added, "The trading strategy for the Nifty, Bank Nifty, and for most futures and options in the indices is don’t carry any positions except for some small volumes in the Nifty, which is simply an anticipation of a good news from Bernanke. Keep volumes low otherwise don’t carry any positions. For individual stocks procedural is much easier. We have a lot of attractive options on the buy side as well as on the sell side."

"On buy side we are looking at Gujarat Fluorochemicals, which is now completing its bear market and just beginning an upmove. Stocks that are starting from a new base after completing bear markets are very attractive because eventually lot of gains can come."
