Buy Lupin on dips, says Anu Jain, Sr Vice President - IIFL Private Wealth Management.
Jain told CNBC-TV18, "In Ranbaxy I would start booking my profits because I have not seen a very big upside from there. What I like is the formation in Lupin. It has been showing that it could probably move far sharply higher. So closer to Rs 530 where it has closed, I think all dips to Rs 515 should be a buying opportunity because over a longish period of time that is showing movement closer to Rs 586. So that is an investment call but for trade also, I think Rs 545-550 is definitely on the call. So between all of them as of now I think Lupin is the strongest, would start booking profits into Ranbaxy on any rise around these prices also."
Lupin's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 16.24 per share. (Dec, 2011). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 33.63. The latest book value of the company is Rs 70.59 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 7.74. The dividend yield of the company was 0.55%.
