Jitendra Sriram, MD & Head of Research, HSBC India would be optimistic on Wipro from hereon.

Sriram told CNBC-TV18, "Wipro is a name that we do like. Do remember that some part of the upside has already been made by shareholders because of the demerger, which has happened. This price is no more relevant with whatever was past price.”
He further added, “If my memory serves me right, Rs 30-40 has been the value attributable to the consumer business which has already gone out and it has been cashed out by shareholders. So like to like comparison is no more valid, so despite the fall yesterday clearly it is one name which is showing some kind of stability in terms of growth. There was a disappointment in the numbers which probably the stock has got punished yesterday, but we would be optimistic on the stock from hereon.”
