Avoid Adani Power, says Phani Sekhar

Phani Sekhar, Fund Manager of Angel Broking recommends avoiding Adani Power as the stock is very highly valued at about 2.1 times price to book.

Phani Sekhar, Fund Manager of Angel Broking told CNBC-TV18, "Adani Power is very highly valued at about 2.1 times price to book, which no power company, even NTPC doesn't command that kind of valuation any more these days. So, on all front, it is a clear avoid."


The share touched its 52-week high Rs 70.00 and 52-week low Rs 36.80 on 20 December, 2012 and 30 August, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 42 percent below its 52-week high and 10.33 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 11,660.00 crore.
