Nitin Rakesh, CEO, Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company is neutral on Reliance Industries.


Rakesh told CNBC-TV18, "We have had a neutral call on Reliance Industries. From a portfolio perspective, we have not gone overweight or we have been fairly neutral on the stock, not negative, not positive so it is a tough call as I said. The real issue seems to be what is the next trigger of growth from an earnings perspective and that got few things going on, shell gas in the US, they have domestic gas projects and they have caused some trouble but clearly what is the next big trigger and that is one of the reasons why it has been a muted performer."
The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 61.97 per share. (Mar, 2012). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 11.71. The latest book value of the company is Rs 428.99 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 1.69. The dividend yield of the company was 1.17%.
