Buy Hindustan Zinc, United Phos, Havells, Emami: Diwan

In CNBC-TV18's popular show Bull's Eye, Prakash Diwan of Altamount Capital Management shares his trading strategies for the day.

One may go long on Hindustan Zinc. It seems to be attractive with right kind of an attention from investors and from traders. I expect this particular stock to also benefit from the kind of consolidation that is underway within the entire Vedanta Group. Given the fact that the government could possibly look at diluting its stake in other zinc manufacturing units, it would be extremely positive for this company.
One may go long on United Phosphorous. The stock has done extremely well post its results. We also expect it to come up with some positive newsflow on certain global acquisitions that have been in the offing for a while. Of course the great monsoon advent in India itself is a positive trigger for this stock. So we would like to rally on this forward with a target price of Rs 153.50 and a stop loss of Rs 143.50.
One may go long on Havells India. It is one of the few companies that benefits out of the rupee depreciation. Given the turnaround in its global operations and also possibly benefiting from a lot of import duty restriction on certain capital goods, white household goods, which are likely to be announced very soon, Havells would benefit from this kind of a move by the government.
One may go long on Emami. We have seen the MNC FMCG companies race up in very high valuation zones but the domestic FMCG players still offer certain value and they could probably be right for the picking in these markets. We would look at going long in Emami with a target price of Rs 438.
