Sharmila Joshi, Head of Equity of Peerless Securities told CNBC-TV18, "The losses were expected to be lower than what Adani Power have reported, but the other piece of news is left to play out. So in any case if one thinks that both pieces of news are going to be negative then I really do not think there is much that can be done with the stock, because in any case the power sector is not kind of in the best of shapes."
"I would really recommend to exit the stock. If there is some clarity on tariff path then maybe it makes some sense in holding on and waiting for a bounce back to about Rs 40-45 levels," she said.
