Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "Coal India is giving us a long-term target of almost Rs 370-380. I don't know whether that will come about because there is a lot of contradiction of what the Nifty is doing but at least the underlying message is that we want to be long in Coal India. It is on the verge of a breakout on the upside."
At 10:59 hrs Coal India was quoting at Rs 300.05, down Rs 7, or 2.28 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 307.15 and an intraday low of Rs 300.05. The share touched its 52-week high Rs 374.05 and 52-week low Rs 238.35 on 03 December, 2012 and 30 August, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 19.78 percent below its 52-week high and 25.89 percent above its 52-week low.
