Gautam Shah, CMT, VP-Fin Services at JM Financial told CNBC-TV18, "Telecom stocks have great charts. You have a major turnaround that has taken place over the last three-six months and the fact that these stocks do not fall in a weak market itself, which is an indication that there are buyers waiting to enter at lower levels. Stocks like Idea Cellular, Bharti Airtel, even Reliance Communications should be bought on every decline."
"Clearly this is the momentum side of the market and very few pockets in the market are doing well. So along with IT and healthcare, telecom is definitely on my list, but we are actually concentrating on the short side because you want to really stay with the trend," he added.
