Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "One may buy Coal India for a target of Rs 285 with a stoploss at Rs 269."
At 14:53 hrs Coal India was quoting at Rs 284.50, up Rs 19.65, or 7.42 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 386 and 52-week low Rs 238.35 on 17 September, 2012 and 30 August, 2013, respectively.
