Sangeeta Purushottam remains skeptical on metals

Sangeeta Purushottam, Professional Investor is remains skeptical on metals for a while.

Purushottam told CNBC-TV18, "I would remain skeptical on metals for a while. I think there are other segments of the  market which one can actually play for. The metal pack could remain fairly volatile through this year. So if it’s a very long  term call - that’s a different issue but if you are looking at a few months to a year, I would be skeptical."
At 11:39 hrs Tata Steel was quoting at Rs 356.95, up Rs 6.70, or 1.91%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 357.90 and an intraday low of Rs 352.05.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 482 and 52-week low Rs 333.55 on 03 April, 2012 and 04 March, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 25.94% below its 52-week high and 7.02% above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 34,667.50 crore.
