Manas Jaiswal, manasjaiswal.com Adani Power has made a bullish engulfing pattern and yesterday also it witnessed good buying interest. It can test Rs 45 in next one-two trading sessions. One can buy the stock at current levels with a stop loss of Rs 41. Manav Chopra, Nirmal BangBuy Larsen and Toubro (L&T). The stock after recent decline has formed a probable double bottom pattern at the rising channel drawn from its December 2011 lows. The stock has also observed series of positive divergence in the momentum indicators which suggests a possible trend revisal on cards. There is a very strong support at Rs 1380 on the downside. One can maintain a buy with a stop loss of Rs 1370 for a target of Rs 1465.
Buy Hindustan Unilever (HUL). The stock after couple of months of consolidation has managed to exceed the crucial hurdles of Rs 470 with a big bullish candle accompanied by sharp volumes. The stock has also managed to cross over the short-term moving averages and momentum indicators have entered into a buy mode. Buy Dr Reddys Laboratories. The stock has been consolidating between Rs 1720 and 1820 since more than six weeks. While remaining in this consolidation phase it has formed a double bottom kind of pattern and recently it has also closed above its 200 days exponential moving average. And short-term moving average crossover has also happened indicating that momentum is likely to continue and hence a buy call for a target of Rs 1900 with a stop loss of Rs 1780.
Buy Voltas. The stock has been continuously sliding since September 2012 and recently it saw some buying interest near its previous low of Rs 72 seen in December 2011. Recently the volumes are also picking up with crossover of short-term moving average and hence a buy call for a target of Rs 86 with a stop loss of Rs 75.
