Buy infrastructure stocks on dips with a long term perspective, says Piyush Garg, Chief Investment Officer, ICICI Securities.
Garg told CNBC-TV18, "Infrastructure sector definitely offers a lot of value, there is no doubt about that. But anyway I think it will move with the market and it has a tendency to have a slightly higher beta. So in case the market were to reverse its course and again start falling or even may go down below the 52 levels then the depreciation in the prices in this sector again is huge, is the beta is definitely much more than one on the downside because there are headwinds on the interest rate front and other front on the regulations side especially on this sector, which will continue and I don't that those things are going away jiffy."
