Ajay Bodke of Prabhudas Lilladher prefers Oil India and ONGC in oil & gas space.


Bodke told CNBC-TV18, “Oil India and ONGC are the ones that we prefer in oil & gas space. We also sort of like Cairn India although in case of Cairn, obviously the reasons why we like it essentially is because of the new oil discoveries. That’s the reason we prefer Cairn. Simply from point of view of falling oil prices, ONGC and Oil India are our preferences.”
ONGC’s trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 22.12 per share. (Dec, 2012). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 14.98. The latest book value of the company is Rs 132.03 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 2.51. The dividend yield of the company was 2.94 percent. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio stands at 14.98 on (NSE).
