Under the partnership, Realme will manufacture its entire next-generation AIoT portfolio—including earphones, smartwatches, and tablets—locally.

Realme, India’s fifth ranked smartphone brand, has partnered with Optiemus Electronics Ltd. (OEL) to produce 5 million AIoT devices annually, a move expected to generate over 2,000 new jobs and strengthen India’s position as a global tech manufacturing hub.

Under the partnership, Realme will manufacture its entire next-generation AIoT portfolio—including earphones, smartwatches, and tablets—locally. Production has already begun with the realme Buds T200 Lite, featuring Dual Mic AI Deep Call Noise Cancellation and DNN voice recognition technology.

The company plans to ramp up local sourcing of critical components such as PCBAs, batteries, mechanics, and chargers, aiming to build a robust domestic supply chain.

Additionally, Realme is exploring opportunities to export Made-in-India AIoT devices to global markets, positioning India not just as a manufacturing base but as an innovation hub.
