The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has put on sale nine institutional-category plots in six sectors near the upcoming Noida International Airport.
According to YEIDA officials, these plots can be used for the construction of hospitals, nursing homes, nursery schools and child welfare and maternity centre. The Authority aims to raise around Rs 100 crore from the allotment of these plots.
“The Authority had earlier this month floated a scheme for the allotment of nine plots located in six different sectors along the Yamuna Expressway. This is a golden opportunity to invest in these plots located in the proximity with upcoming Noida Airport. The registrations for the scheme have already begun and it will close on August 30,” a senior YEIDA official said.
He added that these plots will be allotted through e-auction, schedule of which will be announced soon.
According to the scheme document, these plots are located in YEIDA sectors 17, 18, 20, 22D and 22E. The sizes of these plots range between 1,000 square metre (sq m) and 10,115 sq m. Out of these nine land parcels, two are reserved for hospitals, three for nursing homes, three for nursery schools and one for child welfare and maternity centre.
The rate of allotment for these land parcels range between Rs 15,020 per sq m and Rs 22,770 per sq m. The allotment of plots for hospitals, maternity centre and nursing homes will be done at Rs 22,770 per sq m, while for nursery school plots, it will be Rs 15,020 per sq m. The reserved price of the hospital plots has been kept at Rs 24.81 crore while it is Rs 11.38 crore for child welfare and maternity centre.
Officials said that the interested applicants will have to pay a registration fee, which will be 10 percent of the total reserved price of the land parcel. Interested entrepreneurs can download the application form from the authority’s website www.yamunaexpresswayauthority.com.
