The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has floated a scheme for allotment of eight mixed-land-use plots, seeking to attract industrial, commercial and data centre companies.
Applications for the plots can be submitted till January 22, according to officials. YEIDA is responsible for the development of areas in Uttar Pradesh near Noida, Greater Noida and the national capital.
“We have launched a scheme for mixed-land use plots and are hopeful of getting a good response from relevant companies," a YEIDA official told Moneycontrol, requesting anonymity.
1 Location and plot sizes
The plots are located in YEIDA Sector 24 along the 165 km Yamuna Expressway, which connects Greater Noida and Agra. They are close to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, which bypasses New Delhi and passes through Haryana and UP, the proposed film city and the upcoming Noida international airport in Jewar.
The sizes range from 40,000 square metres (sqm) to 91,000 sqm. The plots can be used for industrial and commercial purposes and for setting up data centres, among others.
2 Prices
The rates for the plots range from Rs 16,642.9 per sqm to Rs 17,600 per sqm. The plots are priced at Rs 67.20 crore to Rs 151.81 crore, depending on the size and location.

3 Allotment
Allotments will be made after interviewing applicant companies and evaluating parameters such as their profile, financial health, and previous experience with similar projects. Points will be given to applicants on each parameter.
A Fortune 500 company may get a different score than a midcap company. Allotments will be based on the final score obtained in the process.
4 Payment plan
Applicants will have to pay 30 percent of the total amount (including registration fee) within 60 days from the date of issue of the allotment letter. The remaining 70 percent is payable in 10 equal half-yearly instalments. Interest of 10 percent will be charged on the outstanding amount.

The registration fee has been fixed at 10 percent of the cost of the plot. Given the different categories, the fee ranges from Rs 6.72 crore to Rs 15.18 crore.
5 How to apply
The application forms and brochures can be downloaded from www.yamunaexpresswayauthority.com. Applications must be submitted on the Nivesh Mitra website — www.niveshmitra.up.nic.in.
Applicants must deposit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 25,000, excluding GST, with YEIDA, via RTGS/NEFT, after generating an invoice (challan) from the Nivesh Mitra portal.
