HDFC Bank's customer care services, including chat banking on WhatsApp and SMS banking, will be unavailable on August 22, 2025 and 23, 2025. Announcing to its customers the bank said, the services will be impacted due to an essential system maintenance that it is conducting to enhance banking experience for customers.
The scheduled downtime for HDFC Bank’s services on August 22, and August 23 will be 11:00 pm IST to August 23, 2025, 6:00 am IST for 7 hours.
Some selective services of the will not be available from August 22, 2025.

- Phone Banking IVR
- Email & Social Media support
- WhatsApp Chat Banking
- SMS Banking
Only the toll-free number for blocking (hot listing) accounts and cards will work.
What will still work?
- You can continue using these services without any issues:
- Phone Banking with a live agent
- HDFC NetBanking
- HDFC MobileBanking App
- PayZapp
- MyCards

How to Register for NetBanking Online (if you have an Indian mobile number)
- Enter your Customer ID
- Confirm your registered mobile number
- Enter the OTP sent to your phone
- Enter your debit card details
- Set a new IPIN (password)
- Log in with your Customer ID and new IPIN
- Go to any HDFC ATM
- Insert your debit card and enter PIN
- Choose Other Options
- Select NetBanking Registration and confirm
- Your NetBanking password (IPIN) will be sent to you by courier
