Deutsche Asset Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. announced that they have appointed Vikram Kotak as the Chief Investment Officer – Equity of Deutsche Asset Management (India) Pvt Ltd. In this role as CIO - Equity, Vikram will be responsible for all investment activities and investment strategy on the equity side of the asset management division.

India is an important and strategic market for the Deutsche Bank Group and we are confident that Vikram will play an important role in taking the asset management business to greater heights.” Prior to this, Vikram worked with Birla Sun Life Insurance (BSLI) as CIO where he was a part of the Core Leadership Team and played a key role in brand building, product launches and successfully grew the AUM of BSLI from $350mm (INR 1350 crore) to $4bn (INR 20500 crore) in Equity & Fixed Income in a period of six years.
