It is official now that cement majors ACC and Ambuja Cements will merge.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Rakesh Arora, Managing Partner at Go India Advisors said that ACC-Ambuja Cements merger is positive for shareholders.
He expects some rerating in ACC and Ambuja in the next few years.
ACC and Ambuja will bridge some part of the valuation gap with UltraTech Cement, said Arora.
He said that cross branding and brand unification for ACC-Ambuja merger will take time.
He expects full synergies to take two-three years to come through.
