US markets are trading in the red and the yen and the euro have strengthened against the dollar. This has taken many market participants by surprise, who loosing confidence in central banks policies, says Christopher Palmer, Founder and Chief Investment Officer, Benson Avenue Capital. In addition, poor earnings and weaker than expected Chinese manufacturing data also weighed on the markets, he added. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Palmer says weak dollar will take pressure away from emerging markets (EMs) and will give them more scope for easier monetary policies.Further, he finds healthcare and technology right spaces to invest into in EMs and says he expects consolidation in many of the global markets going forward.Watch video for more…
