US President Donald Trump has a very unpredictable style but he does intend to do what he said he would, says Mark Matthews, Head Research, Bank Julius Baer.In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Matthews listed his views on the recent events that have folded in the US with respect to Donald Trump's immigration ban and other policies.He further said that the meeting between US President Donald Trump and his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe will give some sort of direction to markets.On emerging markets, he said that India is the least vulnerable to US protectionist policies because exports is not a big part of the economy.

Recovery in earnings could likely bring back foreign institutiuonal investor (FII) in the country, he added.Since officially becoming the 45th President of the United States on January 20, Donald Trump has signed a flurry of executive orders, ranging from calling off the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) to the recent immigration ban on refugees coming from seven Muslim-majority countries.He has also looked to de-regularize the American financial sector by repealing the Dodd-Frank Act, which was brought to keep a check on Wall Street practices.Watch video for more.
