Tejas Networks to help Vodafone Idea ramp up 4G and 5G rollouts

Tejas Networks has signed a three-year pact with Vodafone Idea to supply optical transmission products for network performance in an effort to boost 4G and 5G rollout across circles, the optic fibre company said on December 10.

"As VIL accelerates its pan-India 4G and 5G rollouts, it is critical to upgrade our backhaul network to be scalable, robust and future-ready to efficiently manage the expected growth in data traffic and rising bandwidth demands," Jagbir Singh, CTO, Vodafone Idea said.

The move will help Voda Idea expand and create a nationwide 4G and 5G network in India.
