Sameer Khetarpal, chief executive officer and managing director, Jubilant FoodWorks, told the newspaper that he believes consumption will receive a boost as the government taken a number of steps in that regard. He said that the recent tax break provided in the Budget along with the softening of interest rates and the upcoming 8th Pay Commission will help consumption in the country.

Last month, the company had reported a 33 percent dip in standalone net profit at Rs 41 crore for the quarter ended December 31 as against Rs 61 crore in the year-ago period. The Domino's Pizza franchisee's margins were dented by higher wage costs as well as raw materials such as vegetable and meat.
