Moneycontrol boarder Harshad wanted to know whether the theme of buying defensives and being cautious on rate sensitives and cyclicals will continue until elections?
Dipen Sheth of HDFC Securities says an investor can tilt a little more towards defensives to play safe.
“You may not lose too much money if that happens but you may perhaps not score outsize gains. Unfortunately, we in the market are all investment junkies, not just sensible investors. The risk-averse guys would tilt a little bit to the capital preservation oriented funds. “
