The 19th annual Credit Suisse Asia Investment Conference in Hong Kong enters the third day on Wednesday. Nimesh Shah of CNBC-TV18 reports the key highlights of the conference.
Investors expect plenty of risks to the global economy in 2016, and within Asia, China continues to be the biggest risk. The good news, however, is that most of them are "overweight" on India.
Most investors are happy with the liquidity enhancement measures announced by the Reserve Bank of India in its monetary policy on Tuesday and look at it as a long-term positive for the industry.
If reforms in India continue, they will look to further increase exposure in the country, particularly in the banking sector, they say.
However, they also point out that the rally in emerging markets for the rest of the year depends largely on the Federal Reserve move and data on key economic indicators of China.Watch video for more...
