The S&P BSE 100 index will see a dynamic shift as seven counters, including Yes Bank, TVS Motor, IDFC First Bank and others, will join the index while Bandhan Bank, ACC, Voltas and four other stocks are slated to make their exit.
On November 17, Asia Index Private, a partnership between S&P Dow Jones Indices and BSE, announced the reconstitution results of several BSE indices, including S&P BSE 100, S&P BSE SENSEX 50, and S&P BSE SENSEX Next 50. The changes will be made effective at the open of Monday, December 18.
Tata Elxsi, Adani Power, Voltas, Bandhan Bank, Mphasis, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals and ACC are to be dropped from the index. TVS Motor, Hindustan Aeronautics, Power Finance Corp, Yes Bank, APL Apollo Tubes, Persistent Systems and IDFC First Bank will replace the counters on the S&P BSE 100 index.

On the index of the top 50 stocks, BSE Sensex 50, UPL and Dabur India will be removed and replaced with LTIMindtree and Bharat Electronics.
The S&P BSE Sensex Next 50 index will see Voltas, Tata Elxsi, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, Bandhan Bank, ACC, Mphasis, LTIMindtree, Bharat Electronics and Adani Power leave.
In exchange, TVS Motor Company, Power Finance Corporation, Hindustan Aeronautics, Persistent Systems, Dabur India, APL Apollo Tubes, IDFC First Bank, Yes Bank and UPL will start trading on December 18 as a part of the reconstituted index.
Previously, the BSE Sensex index saw a change, following the merger of HDFC and HDFC Bank. On July 13, JSW Steel replaced mortgage major Housing Development Finance Corporation on the benchmark index. On S&P BSE 500, HDFC was replaced by JBM Auto Components Ltd and on S&P BSE 100 by Zomato.
