The spike in crude prices weighed in on our markets as the Nifty continued to consolidate and closed Friday at 5,842 down 43 points while the Sensex lost 139 points to end at 19,451.
The coming few days will be keenly watched by market participants as companies will come out with their fourth quarter (Q4) earnings. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Anantha Narayan, co-head (equities) of ICICI Securities said he is looking at 20% growth in revenue in Q4 earnings.
