The telecom sector has been in news for a multi-billion-dollar licensing scandal. Telecoms Minister Kapil Sibal says that the sector that is accused of lack of transparency requires liberal merger and acquisition guidelines and hints that spectrums should be delinked from licenses. In an exclusive interview with CNBC-TV18, telecom analyst of IIFL, GV Giri says that if the step towards uniform licensee is taken it will bring transparency in the sector.
