None of the Anil Ambani-group company will be on the Sensex from the August 8. Reliance Communications and Reliance Infrastructure will be dropped from the benchmark of 30-stock index, and Sun Pharma and Coal India will be the replacements.

A: Yes. Rearrangement of the Sensex was very much due for quite some time. The exercise has not taken place on a full scale at this stage. It is unfortunate for ADAG because four of their stocks exist in the Nifty, but none appear in the Sensex. Q: Do you expect a reshuffle in the Nifty as well? Last reshuffle in the Nifty was in October 2010 where stocks like Unitech were excluded.
A: Yes. Even in Nifty, the reshuffle is required. Some of the stocks like Sesa Goa, Reliance Communications, Reliance Infra, JP Associate and HCL Technology don
